Grove City police have arrested a man accused of being a serial bank robber. Gove City police say he is responsible for eight bank robberies committed in the Columbus and Grove City areas. All the bank robberies were committed in the span of three months between November and January.

According to a press release issued by police, the 48 year-old serial bank robber was arrested in Grove City and is being held in the Franklin County Jail.

According to Grove City police, the man is responsible for the following bank robberies in the Columbus and Grove City Areas:

• Huntington Bank, 662 North High Street in Columbus, Ohio on November third
• Chase Bank, 3471 South High Street in Columbus, Ohio on November fifteenth
• Union Savings Bank, 1330 Morse Road in Columbus, Ohio on November twenty-sixth
• Huntington Bank, 662 North High Street in Columbus, Ohio on December fourth
• Chase Bank, 4100 Buckeye Parkway in Grove City, Ohio on December twenty-second
• Chase Bank, 2161 Stringtown Road in Grove City, Ohio on December thirty-first
• National City Bank, 2500 Stringtown Road in Grove City, Ohio on January second
• Huntington Bank, 121 Georgesville Road in Columbus, Ohio on January sixth

Ohio police also think the serial bank robber is responsible for a number of other bank robberies in Franklin County.
